These are a couple new CDs I finally cracked into today. The one on the left is Neptune by The Duke Spirit, and the one on the right is Baby 81 by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. They're both pretty good so if you're looking for something new to listen to I recommend these.

I had a very busy day today. I went to the doctor, scheduled surgery, visited with neighbors, and spent most of the day in our garage sale. I just remembered that I needed a picture for today. My dad finally (after many decades) has dug out his old comic books and decided to research their worth. I have to say, I'm surprised at some of the prices of these things. I have no idea how much these two are worth, but thought they made as good a representation as any of today.

This is right outside the office where I get my back therapy. In my effort to exclude the cars and the dumpster in the parking lot it looks like I cut off the bottom of the scenery. Trust me, it's better this way.

This is all the crap we're selling at the garage sale in a few days. We got it all out in the garage and priced to sell. I hope we get rid of a lot of this junk! Most of it's not going back in the house if it doesn't sell. See anything you like?

I spent a lot of time watching movies today so I took a picture of a movie poster. (My feet are bruised and blistered from the torture devices I wore as shoes to the wedding yesterday, so I wasn't up for much else.) I went to see Up which was fabulous, but I also went to see Drag Me To Hell which is the worst movie made in the past 10 years. Then I watched Kill Shot on DVD. I think it's now time to do some reading.

This is Laura being walked down the aisle by her dad. She wanted an outdoor wedding and Meadowbrook had a beautiful venue. But as soon as they walked out the rain started. Poor Laura! But rain is good luck on a wedding day so their marriage started out with a blessing.

I finally got all my financial documents sorted and organized. It's not a very exciting picture, but it's a huge relief for me to have it done. It's been hanging over my head for almost a year now. I was going to do it this weekend, but I was going to do a lot of tasks this weekend that I just didn't do.

This was Freckles' first time outside. It started out OK, but then something freaked her out. You can see she's not too happy right here even though Dad's holding her. I tried to crop out all the crap in our neighbor's backyard, but I couldn't crop out all the junk.

I finally got to watch Underworld: Rise of the Lycans today. I got for my birthday a few days ago and was going to watch it at the Chang's, but 10 minutes into the movie Eileen went into labor. Sweet movie. I'm going to have to squeeze two hours out of Jouky some time and force him to watch this.

I went to hang with the Changs on Friday night. These are my very dear friends Jouky, Alexander, Lucas & Eileen. We were planning to watch Underworld: Rise of Lycans after the kids went to bed, but 10 minutes into the movie Eileen went into labor and they had to leave for the hospital. Jouky didn't even get to see hot Lucian is in the movie (if Eileen could have just waited another two minutes....)

I got a camera for my 38th birthday and thought if would be kind of fun to post a picture a day for a year. My first picture is Gossamer on the 'happy birthday' tissue paper. What a lovely start to a new year. :)
